2.5. Levey Jennings graphs

Levey Jennings (LJ) curves are graphical representations of Quality control data based on the daily
value for each control parameter, its target value and range that are plotted on a graph for
periodic review.
2.5.1. Accessing the "Levey Jennings" screen
1- Press " Quality control menu " button to access the " Quality control " menu.
2- Select one control by pressing the corresponding radio button.
3- Press " LJ display " button ( Diag.5-18 ).

The " Levey Jennings " screen is displayed.
2.5.2. Displaying the Levey Jennings curves
1- Press the corresponding radio button to select the parameter family to display: " WBC " or " RBC "
or " PLT ".
2- In the combo box, select the parameter to display.
3- It is possible to display the LJ curves of the 3 controls levels directly from this screen:
- Press " Level 1 " radio button to display LJ curve of the low level control (created in left frame
of in the " QC " tab)
- Press " Level 2 " radio button to display LJ curve of the normal level control (created in middle
frame of in the " QC " tab)
- Press " Level 3 " radio button to display LJ curve of the high level control (created in right frame
of in the " QC " tab)
The LJ curve corresponding to the selected parameter control is drawn.
The target value, the upper limit and the lower limit are displayed on the LJ graph.
The following values are also displayed:

In the " Nb " field: the number of results used to calculate the average, the standard deviation and
the coefficient of variation.

In the " Avg " field: the average of N results.

In the " Min " field: the minimum value.
◆
In the " Max " field: the maximum value.
◆
In the " SD " field: the standard deviation value.
◆
In the " CV " field: the coefficient of variation value.
