Crankshaft/Piston/Transmission
CAUTION
•
Install the oil orifice with the larger inner diameter side facing the lower crankcase.
•
If the lower crankcase installation is difficult, make sure the transmission assembly is installed correctly.
NOTE
•
Refer to page 1 1 - 1 8 for crankcase sealant area and detail of the bolt locations.

Procedure
Combination Order
( 1 ) U pper crankcase
(2) O i l orifice/0-ring
(3) Dowel pin
(4) Lower crankcase
(5) Lower crankcase bolt, 9 mm
(6) Lower crankcase bolt, 8 mm
(7) Lower crankcase bolt, 6 m m/washer
(8) U pper crankcase bolt, 10 m m/washer
(9) Cable g uide
( 1 0) U pper crankcase bolt, 6 mm/washer
( 1 1 ) Mainshaft bearing set plate
( 1 2) Mainshaft bearing set plate bolt

Do not apply sealant around the oil passage area and
main journal bearing area.

I nsta l l it as i l l ustrated.
At insta l lation, make sure the shift forks engage properly
with the corresponding gea rs.

Tighten ing order ( page 1 1 - 1 9 )
Align t h e cut out o f t h e shift fork shaft with t h e set plate.
Clean and apply a locki ng agent to the bolt threads.
