CAUTION
•
Avoid spilling brake fluid on painted, plastic, or rubber parts. Place a rag over these parts whenever the system is
serviced.
•
When removing the hose bolt, cover the end of the brake hose to prevent contamination.
•
Do not allow foreign material to enter the system.
NOTE
•
Use DOT 4 brake fl uid from a sealed container.

Removal Order
Instal lation is in the reverse of o rder of removal .
( 1 ) Right rearview m irror 1 Loosen the mounting n ut and remove the m i rror.
(2) Front brake lever pivot bolt/nut

Front brake hose 1 At i nsta l lation, press the hose end agai nst the stopper
while tightening the h ose bolt.
(6) Sealing washer 2
(7) B rake light switch connector

(8) Master cyli nder holder bolt 2 At instal lation, tighten the upper bolt first, then th� lower
bolt.
(9) Master cyli nder holder
