MIDDLE COWL

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Remove the following:

– Fuel tank cover (page 2-6)
– Inner cowl (page 2-7)
– Lower cowl (page 2-8)
– Turn signal light (page 19-5)

Release the wires from the clamps.

Remove the screws and bolts.

Release the boss from the grommet of the frame
and remove the middle cowl by pulling it forward.

Release the speedometer cable from the cable
guide.

Install the middle cowl in the reverse order of
removal.

Be careful not to

damage the tabs

and slits.

LEFT SIDE:

Route the wires

properly (page 1-

18).
