Output Ports
The output signals of a port can be viewed by issuing the Sim. Result
command in the Window menu. Fig 7-4 displays the output/input signal of
all ports if the ports are of output/input type. Each line denotes a record and
consists of the following items.
•
The NO. field indicates the number of a record. The range is from 0 to
1023, i.e. a total of 1024 records. If there are more than 1024 records, the
records are scrolled up. This means that record 0 is moved out from the
record area, the 1025-th record is marked as number 1023 and so on.
Therefore, the latest record number remains at 1023 even if more than
1024 records exist.
•
The PC field is the program count of an instruction. This record contains
the input/output signals of the specified ports due to the execution of this
instruction.
•
Pin_of_Port fields are the input/output signals of all specified ports. Only
the Pins_of_ports specified in the Monitor Port box in the Simulation
Option dialog box (refer to Fig 7-2) will be displayed on the Sim. Result
box.
Fig 7-4
Moving the cursor to a record line in the Sim. Result box (Fig 7-4) and
double-clicking the mouse, will cause the cursor to jump to the line in the
source file with the same PC value as this record.
