6.2 Explanation of each Auto Calibration and Corrective Actions
Test-1: Auto Calibration of Photo Amplifier
G: Gain, L2: Dark Level, L3: Light Level, Ls: Slice Level
The “L” is the slice level of light / dark judgment determined by L2 and L3.

N (correction factor) 0.5 ~ 2.0 (normal 1.0)
In case it is out of the specifications, cleaning or replacing PC22N may be required.

the sheet (040-7-4: 72kg paper) in the

Set the gain value and the threshold value to detect multiple sheet feeding at the best level.
With the 1st sheet, adjust the best gain that makes SSP (0060hex ~ 00C0hex). (Gain: 0001 ~ 0007)
With 2
nd
sheet and later, set the threshold value with which detect multiple sheet feeding based on the best gain.
( threshold: 004Bhex ~ 00F0hex)
The threshold value for actual detection will be corrected with the Auto Calibration results.
