3.3 Cleaning the Scanner

Use fresh cleaners (ex. Gauze, Cotton Swab).

The use of dirty cleaners may damage the scanner.

Please take caution when cleaning the Reader Area (Lower Mirror, Cover Glass, Cover Sheet)

3.3.1 Cleaning the Lower Mirror (Front), the Cover Sheet (Front)

Use gauze to wipe the Lower Mirror (Front), and the Cover Sheet

Remove the Cover Sheet from the device as shown in

. Clean the debris or paper scraps in the inside of

the device.

Remove debris and paper scraps in the area

Removing the Cover Sheet: Slide the Cover Sheet to the right and pull the Cover Sheet down.

To attach the Cover Sheet, slide it back to the left.

(If the Cover Sheet is attached incorrectly, the fluorescent light could get damaged.
