route
1. Check the coolant line route
(radiator, inverter, and hose) for
any damage or water leakage.
Defect is
found: Go to
YES.
Defect is not
found: Go to
NO.
Repair or
replace the
defective part.
After repair/
replacement,
perform the
inspection
again.
Go to step 2.

Inspecting the
coolant level
1. Remove the radiator cap and
check the height from the cool-
ant level to the filling port.
Coolant level
is about 10
mm from the
filling port: Go
to YES.
Coolant level
is not about 10
mm from the
filling port: Go
to NO.
Go to step 3.
Add coolant.
(See "Adding
coolant.")
After adding
coolant, per-
form the
inspection
again.

Reading the
DTC [HINO-
DX]
1. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position.
2. Connect the diagnosis tool
(HINO-DX) to the vehicle.
3. Set the starter key to the "ON"
position.
4. In [Fault Information] on the
diagnosis tool screen, check if
any other coolant temperature
sensor system DTC (listed
below) is detected.

P060B-B2, P0A02-78,
P0A03-79, P0A06-7F,
P0A07-7E, P0A93-7A,
P0C73-80, P314C-82,
P314D-81
DTC other
than P0A01-
7B is detected:
Go to YES.
DTC other
than P0A01-
7B is not
detected: Go
to NO.
Perform trou-
bleshooting for
each of related
DTC.
Go to step 4.
