Inspecting the
HV battery
temperature
sensor [HINO-
DX]
1. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position.
2. Leave (cool) the vehicle for
approximately 1 hour.
3. Start and then idle the engine.
4. In [Data Monitor] on the diagno-
sis tool screen, monitor [Maxi-
mum temperature of HV
battery].

After cooling, idling state

ECU.

Reproduction
check [HINO-
DX]
1. Restore the system.
2. Clear the malfunction history.
3. Perform a test run for approxi-
mately 1 hour.
4. In [Fault Information] on the
diagnosis tool screen, check if
P0A7E-48 is detected.
DTC P0A7E-
48 is detected:
Go to YES.
DTC P0A7E-
48 is not
detected: Go
to NO.
Replace the
HV battery.
The inspec-
tion is com-
pleted.
(If no repair or
parts replace-
ment is per-
formed, there
may be a tem-
porary temper-
ature increase
due to clog-
ging of blower
duct.)
