Inspecting the
PCU wire har-
ness (lower
side) for conti-
nuity 1
1. Set the starter key to the
"LOCK" position.
2. Remove the inverter start relay.
3. Using the electrical tester, mea-
sure the resistance between
the terminals of PCU harness
(24P) connector and inverter
start relay connector (relay
block side).
<Measurement conditions>
Starter key: LOCK
<Tester connections>
PCU harness (24P) lower-side
connector – Inverter start relay
connector (relay block side)
3rd terminal – 3rd terminal
<Standard values>
1
or less (With continuity)
The mea-
sured value is
within the
range of stan-
dard value: Go
to YES.
The mea-
sured value is
not within the
range of stan-
dard value: Go
to NO.
Go to step 6.
Replace the
PCU wire har-
ness (lower
side).

circuit 1
1. Using the electrical tester, mea-
sure the resistance between
the 3rd terminal of inverter start
relay connector (relay block
side) and the ground.

Starter key: LOCK
<Tester connections>
Inverter start relay connector
(relay block side)
3rd terminal – GND
<Standard values>
10 k
or more (No continuity)
The mea-
sured value is
within the

dard value: Go
to YES.

to NO.
