Serial Cluster Operation
For serial cluster operation, first the two individual channels of each ERS are connected in parallel and
then both systems are connected in series. This doubles the output power compared to a single
device. Compared to the parallel connection of a single device, the voltage doubles at the same cur-
rent, compared to the serial connection, the current doubles at the same voltage.
N O T I C E
Parallel connection of two devices that are in serial wiring mode is not
allowed!
