Ventilation
The ERS is water cooled, but nevertheless
a certain amount of loss is released into the
air. The battery simulator is therefore
equipped with ventilation openings or op-
tionally integrated ceiling fans. These
openings must not be covered under any
circumstances; air flows from fans must
also not be impaired. In addition, there
must be sufficient free space around the
unit in accordance with the installation plan
(
Fig. 12, p. 22
).
Ensure that the room is adequately venti-
lated so that the maximum permissible am-
bient temperature is not exceeded.
Clearances
There must be sufficient clearance when
the ERS system is set up. For set-up and
for later maintenance work on the systems,
a distance of at least 1
m must be main-
tained at the front. In systems with I
OUT
>1200
A, a minimum of 0.5
m of distance
must be kept clear. An access from behind
or the right hand side is an advantage but
not absolutely necessary.
