Parallel Operation
By operating the device in parallel mode the output current of the ERS can be doubled. For this the
two output units of the ERS are wired parallel and, in the menu “Unit Parameters” (see
section 6.4.9,
p. 57
), the channel wiring has to be set to “Parallel”.
For serial operation only one isolation monitor may be active.
Below you will find an overview of the possible current combinations, depending on the device type.
