
6.6 Cluster Operation (optional)

To set up cluster operation, the output channels of the individual devices are connected with load
cables as shown in the following diagrams. The sense connections of the individual channels must be
connected like the load.
During cluster operation only one insulation monitor may be active at the connected devices, because
otherwise they would interfere with each other in their function.
Parallel Cluster Operation
Cluster operation in parallel is realized by connecting the four individual channels of the ERS systems
in parallel, thus doubling the output power and quadrupling the current.
