2)
The neutral conductor must be disconnected in terminal -X2.
3)
The mains contactor must be bridged with a cable (crocodile clamps).
4)
The output of the ERS must be short-circuited and connected to device ground. The short-circuit
must be created before the output contactors, i.e. internally.
5)
The voltage at the HV power supply unit must now be increased to 2.3
kV within 5
seconds. The
test voltage must be maintained for 60
s. The test is passed if there is no flashover.

1)
The mains input is short-circuited with the service plug and connected to the device earth.
2)
Neutral must be disconnected at terminal –X2.
3)
The main contactor must be bridged with a cable (crocodile clamps).
4)
The output of the ERS remains short-circuited and is connected to the positive pole of the high
voltage power supply. The short-circuit must be created internally before the output relays. The
negative pole is connected to the device earth (grounding rail).
5)
While observing the current consumption, the voltage is increased to 1.6
kV and left at this level for
60 seconds. The test is passed if there is no flashover.
⚠
After finishing of the HV test, all connections and the service plug must be removed and ground
and neutral must be reconnected
Switching on Mains supply
If the ERS system has been completely assembled and the insulation measurement has been carried
out successfully, the commissioning can be continued. Use a NH fuse mounting aid to remove the F1
- F4 fuse links in the DC circuit and then switch on the main switch. The system then boots and is in
sleep mode. Then carry out another visual inspection. If there are no abnormalities or error messages
appear on the display, you can continue with the commissioning.
