Investigate and repair the condition causing the foldback before pressing
the HIGH power button to resume normal operation
The operator may refer to "3.4.6 Fault Logging" on page 3-8, for specific details on how
to view and clear the Foldback fault-related description in the Diagnostic Display’s
fault log. If more troubleshooting is necessary, a technician can refer to Section 6 of that
manual for fault explanations.
3.6.4
INTERLOCK LED Illuminated
The Interlock LED will illuminate for following reasons:
•
Transmitter is muted because the Failsafe loop is open
•
The transmitter is turned off and will not be allowed to turn on because the Interlock
loop is open
Navigate through the Diagnostic display to the Fault Log to determine which loop is
open and causing the LED indication. The operator may refer to "3.4.6 Fault Logging"
on page 3-8, for specific details on how to view and clear the fault description in the
Diagnostic Display’s fault log. If more troubleshooting is necessary, a technician can
refer to Section 6 of that manual for fault explanations.
3.6.5
Front Panel Buttons Unresponsive
If a transmitter or GUI screen appears to not be responding to button pushes it is
possible the controller has had a glitch, and needs to be reset. Simply disconnect AC
power to the device for 10 seconds, then restore power and turn on.
3.6.6
No Digital RF
NOTE:
The HDx-FM exciter will NOT generate HD carriers unless one of the two
following condtions is met:
1.
The HDx-FM is properly connected to, and configured for the HDE-100
Exporter (this is the recommended method)
- or -
2.
The HD carriers can be internally generated, for initial testing, by making
the following HDx-FM parameter changes on the Output Setup page 1/4:
