Step 2 – Digital 2D Mode Setup
Once a new project is created you will see a new screen that will change depending on the antenna
connected and previous display settings.
300/800 MHz Dual Frequency
antenna:
The Collect Setup screen
will display either 1) Line Scan view
with scrolling data, or 2) Wiggle mode
showing O-Scopes for High Freq (-
uency), Low Freq (-uency), or Blend.
The High Freq O-Scope displays the
800MHz trace, the Low Freq O-Scope
displays the 300MHz trace, and the
Blend O-Scope shows the combined
traces for 300MHz and 800MH. Note:
both frequencies are being collected,
regardless of the display setup.
To change display type between Line
Scan and Wiggle Mode, go to the
Output Menu and scroll down to DF
Display Type. Press down on the Control Knob or press the enter key to switch to Wiggle or Line Scan.

The Collect Setup
screen will display either 1) Line Scan
view with scrolling data, 2) Line Scan
view and O-Scope.
Setup Menu
Regardless of the digital antenna and
display setup you will see a Setup
Menu on the right-hand side of the
screen. The Setup Menu has four (4)
main menus:
Radar
,
Process
,
Output
, and
System
. To collect data,
you’ll need to check or adjust settings
in all four (4) menus. The options for
each Setup Menu will be different
depending on the connected antenna.
See below for antenna-specific Setup Menu options.
Recall Setup
If you’ve previously saved a setup that you want to use, recall it first before making any changes.
Otherwise, when you do recall the setup it will overwrite any of your changes with those that were saved.
Setups can either be uniquely named or you can use one of the sixteen (16) available setup names.

Open the System Menu and select Recall Setup. Select your saved setup from the list using either the
Control knob or arrow keys. Once the desired setup is highlighted press either the Control knob or
Enter button.
