Positioning the chamber casing

Introduction

To facilitate pole hoisting and to improve working safety it is indispensable that

the casings be positioned correctly with respect to the lifting equipment.

Positioning

the casing

Using the appropriate lifting equipment, position the chamber casing so that:

The centreline of the chambers is perpendicular to the plane of the lifting

equipment,

The distance between the casing and the lifting equipment is greater than

the total length of the column fitted to the chassis ”L” + 2 m.

NOTE

: The cradle on the first chamber will be used in the column-

chamber coupling for all three circuit breaker poles
