- all the transform and transform.dat files found in D: drive
- the D:\calib folder and the D:\detector folder
- the C:\Program Files\GE Medical Systems folder
- the newly created calibration_values.jpg file
- all saved volumes (e.g. 1x1_wire_cs_360)
- the C:\Registry Backup folder.
2. Label the DVD with the name Calibration Values , and include the system serial number and
date.
3. Create zip files containing the acquired images and support files created for each of the 3 wire
scans. Call the zip files
1x1.zip , 2x2.zip and 4x4.zip . There is no need to backup the 'Volumes'
or 'Corrected' folder.
4. Save the zip files on to a separate DVD and label the DVD with the name Wire Scans . Include
the system serial number and date.
5. Make two copies of each DVD. File one set of DVDs in the system's Device History Record
folder located on the back of the system, and send the other to Service Engineering.

5.2.2 Restore Registry
The following describes how to perform a registry restore using the backed up values on the C:
drive. A registry restore may also be performed from a DVD.
1. In Windows Explorer, open the following folder: C:\Registry Backup
2. Open the sub-folder labelled with the appropriate date (i.e. the sub-folder containing the
registry values you wish to restore).
3. In Windows Explorer, rename the file GEHC.GER to GEHC.REG .
4. Double-click on the GEHC.REG file.
5. Click Yes when asked if you want to add the information to the registry.
6. Double-click on the GEMS.REG file.
7. Click Yes when asked if you want to add the information to the registry.
The registry is restored.
