24. Threshold the image by sliding the Window slide bar to the left until it reads 0 and sliding the
Level slide bar until the edges of the ball appears with the maximum amount of square edges.
25. Zoom in on the outer left most side of the ball.
26. Place the mouse in the middle of the gray
band that appears to the left of the black
area. Make note of the x coordinate and
round the coordinate to the nearest .5
pixel. Record in the Worksheet.
27. Zoom out and move to the right outer most side of the ball. Zoom in on the edge. DO NOT re-
adjust the Window and Level slide bars.
28. Place the mouse in the middle of the gray band that appears to the right of the black area.
Make note of the x coordinate in the Worksheet.
29. Add the 2 x values together and then divide by 2. This value is the ball’s geometric centre.
Make note of this value in the Worksheet.
