12. Add the two mean values determined in the above 2 steps.
13. Divide this value by 2 to determine the Half Maximum value. Note this value in the Worksheet.
14. In MicroView , slide the Window slide bar left until it reads 0.
15. Double-click on the W and L parameters in the lower right of the screen. Enter the Half
Maximum value calculated in step 13 in the Level field.
16. Zoom in on the left edge of the image
and position the cursor until the y axis
equals the value of the Central Slice
(determined earlier) and the x position is
in the centre of the grey region.
17. Press 1 .
18. Zoom out and pan across to the right
edge of the image. Zoom in on the right
edge and position the cursor until the y
axis equals the value of the Central
Slice (determined earlier) and
the x
position is in the centre of the grey
region.
19. Press 2 to draw a line between 1 and 2.
