40. Double-click on the W and L parameters in the lower right of the screen. Change the Update
mode to Delayed updates . This only needs to be changed once.
Record Window and Level in the Worksheet.
Find the Geometric Centre of the Ball at Detector End:
Note: To find the geometric centre of the ball, determine the x value on the right and left side of the ball.
Add the values together and divide by 2. To find the geometric centre as follows.
41. Use the Pan and Zoom features in MicroView to get the ball in the desired area of the screen.
Note: To Pan, move the mouse while pressing Shift plus the left mouse button simultaneously. To
Zoom, move the mouse up (to magnify) or down (to zoom out) while pressing the right mouse
button.
42. Threshold the image by sliding the Window slide bar to the left until it reads 0 and sliding the
Level slide bar until the edges of the ball appears with the maximum amount of square edges.
43. Zoom in on the outer left most side of the ball.
