Remember to switch off the ID indicator after the maintenance task has been
concluded successfully.

Determining the error class
The Local Service Concept (LSC) allows you to identify defective server
components. Failure events are assigned to one of two error classes:
–
Global Error
events that need to be resolved by maintenance personnel
–
Customer Self Service
(CSS) error events that may be resolved by
operating personnel
Global Error and CSS LEDs indicate, if the defective component is a customer
replaceable unit or if maintenance personnel needs to be dispatched to replace
the part.

The indicators also light up in standby mode and after a server restart
due to a power failure.
