5.4.2 Ventilation at the first filling of the internal cooling water circuit
1. Fill up the external cooling water
expansion tank with coolant.
ATTENTION: „maximum fill level =
„max.“-mark.
The cover of the external expansion tank
temporary must be opened.

2. Open vent screw on the pipe socket of
the internal cooling water pump. Close
the vent screw when air free water
comes out.
Check the water level in the expansion
tank during the vanting. Fill up if neces-
sary.
Never open the vent screw while the
generator is running.

3. Open vent screw on the thermostat
housing. Close the vent screw when
