Conversion of the MPA valve terminal with MP con
nection
In order to convert the MPA valve terminal to two pressure
zones, you will require the following components:
one sheet metal seal with pressure zone separation
MPA−DP−...
one supply unit if the MPA valve terminal is not yet fitted
with this.
Please note
The MPA valve terminal with MP connection can be fitted
with maximum one seal for pressure zone separation. The
left−hand pressure zone is supplied via the MP sub−base;
the right−hand pressure zone via a supply plate which is
situated next to the right−hand end plate.
Removing Proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the electrical and pneumatic connections and re
move the MPA valve terminal from its fastening surface
(see this chapter, section "Dismantling the MPA valve
terminal").
2. Place the MPA valve terminal on a flat working surface.
3. Remove all valve plates and blanking plates, then all
electronic modules (see section "Dismantling valve plates
or blanking plates").
4. Loosen the sub−base at the point where you wish to insert
the sheet metal seal for the pressure zone separation (see
section "Dismantling sub−bases").
Fitting Proceed as follows:
1. Insert the sheet metal seal for the pressure zone separ
ation.
2. Fit the sub−base (see section "Fitting sub−bases").
