To cal c ulate the data numbers for this column, you will need to f in d
thr e e di f ferent numbers . First find out which dots are used in th e top
g roup ( th e top eight positions) and add their values together . Th en
yo u g o do w n to the middle group (the next eight positions) and add
th e va lu es o f any dots that are used there. Finally, look a t the
bottom g roup (two dot positions) and add together the valu es u sed
there .
If n o d o ts a r e used in a group, the data number for that grou p is
ze r o . All z e ros must be entered in the DATA statements f o r the
NLQ d e finition programs .
