When y ou want to use single sheet paper in the LX-SO , y ou can
remo ve th e tractor unit quite easily. Push back the two tr actor
re l ease l eve r s as shown in Figure E-S, tilt the unit backw a rd s, a n d
l if t it u p.
Loading Continuous Paper
O n ce yo u r tr a ctor is installed , you can load continuous pap e r . See
t h at t h e pri nt e r is turned off, and open the front lid . Then m ove the
p r i nt h ea d to the centre of the printer , and pull the paper bail away
f r o m th e pl a t e n (the black roller) just as you did for singl e s h eet
l oadi n g. ( L o ok back at Figure 1-7 if you need to check on th e n a m es
o f a n y of th es e parts.)
Now , u s in g Fig ure E-6 as your guide , pull the locking lever s f o r ward
so th a t yo u ca n move the pin feed holders at the left and right . P ut
t h e l ef t h o ld e r approximately 3 / 4 of an inch from the extreme l eft
pos iti o n a nd then push the locking lever back to lock that hold e r in
place. Leave the other holder unlocked.
