Setting print styles

Tabbing

or i z ont a l tabs will not work and you are also setting the m argin,
se t m a rgin s b e fore setting the tabs, not after .
I f h or i zo nt a l tab s do not work , it may be that your comput e r will not
a ll ow t h e A SCII code 9 to be sent to the printer , or it m ay be
i n te rpr e ttin g the ASCII code 9 as a tab command , but s ub s titu ting a
ser i es of spaces instead . This is likely to happen with CP / M -based
m ac h i n es. Th e re may be other computers which also have p roblems
b eca u se th ey cannot send the ASCII code 9. Look under th e section
o n yo u r co mputer .
If ho r izont a l tabs are incorrect and you have changed pitch , r emem-
b e r th at ta b s are set to an absolute position accord i ng to the c u rrent
pr i nt pit c h . Changes in pitch do not affect t h e abso lu te po s i t i on of
