yo u r a p plica t io n, you can write a program in BASIC or any o t h er
program m i n g language to send control codes to the printer b efore
yo u r u n your a pplications program. In the chapter on page form at-
ting you will f ind examples of such programs . Just rememb e r th at
wi t h t h is meth od the printer control code stays in effect f or the
w h ole doc um e nt you print . This method works for a wide ran ge of
commands and is good for setting margins, for example , but d oes
not work for ita licizing a word. It has the same drawback as Se l ec-
