SMTP Server
: enter the IP address or
FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name)
for the mail server. You can enter up to
63 alphanumeric characters (you cannot
use " * + , : ; < = > ? [ \ ] ` | and spaces).
You cannot use the following IP
addresses: 127.x.x.x, 192.0.2.x, or
224.0.0.0 through 255.255.255.255
(where x is a number from 0 to 255). If
you specify an FQDN, you must
configure a DNS server.
Authentication Authentication : sets the type of
authentication expected by the mail
server.

: The default port varies

setting: 25 for

: connects to the
SMTP server and sends a test email to
the address you set as the default.
