5.2.3

Replace source unit gas cell

Replace the source unit gas cell according to the following procedure.
1.

Shut down and lock out power to the Rosemount

™

CCO 5500 Analyzer.

Unbolt and remove the source from the air purge.

Remove the window plate (

Figure 5-5

) from the source unit.

Unscrew the three brass screws that secure the circuit board and center plate
assembly.

Lift the circuit board and center plate assembly out of the source unit.

Loosen the setscrew at the end of the gas cell assembly (

Pry the gas cell from the stepper motor shaft.

Insert a new gas cell onto the stepper motor shaft and tighten the setscrew.

Install the center plate and circuit board assembly and secure with the three brass
screws removed in

Line up and install the window plate onto the source unit. Fully seat the window
plate flange in the source unit.
