Overview of International
Roaming (WORLD WING)
International roaming (WORLD WING) is a service
that allows you to make/receive calls or use i-mode
through the network of roaming service operator
overseas.
z
You can use the N-04A within the roaming area

of
DOCOMO overseas. For details on the service
area and charge, see the DOCOMO “International
Services Website”.
z
DOCOMO’s roaming area is the 3rd generation
mobile network compliant with the 3GPP

global
standard.
z
Before using the FOMA terminal overseas, please
check the following documents:
• “Mobile Phone User’s Guide [International
Services]”.
• “Mobile Phone User’s Guide [Network Services]”
• The PDF format “ 海外ご利用ガイド ” pre-
installed in the My document folder within the
DATA BOX.
*1: This terminal cannot be used in the GSM/GRPS
service area.
*2: 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) is a
regional standardization body established to develop
commonly applied technical specifications for 3rd-
generation mobile communications systems (IMT-
2000).

Enter the following country codes when using
international call or setting “Country code” in “Int’l dial
assistance”.
* For other country codes and details, see the DOCOMO
“international Services Website”.

the operator or area.

Packet communications charges overseas are
different from those in Japan.

*1: Outgoing calls using Number B of 2in1 is not available
(when receive a call for Number B, some operators
cannot recognized to which number the call was
made).
You cannot make a call from the additional number of
multi number.
*2: International videophone calls are available with users
of specific roaming operators overseas or FOMA
terminals in Japan.
*3: The automatic update will be automatically paused
when a roaming operator is connected. To resume the
i-Channel automatic update, it is required to set the
i-Channel setting again. However, you are charged for
the packet communication in addition to the monthly
charge. In addition, when you automatically update
information on “Basic Channel”, the packet
communication charge will apply.
*4: You may not be able to obtain all i-concier data
depending on the network.
*5: Minimum Packet communications charges apply when
you display the “i-Widget” screen and apply for each
communication, because some i-Widget appli
performs communication when the “i-Widget” screen is
displayed.
