SECTION 8: ANALYZING QUEUE AND SERVICE ZONE FUNCTIONALITY
Height View
The Height option displays the height of all objects being tracked by the D3D-2500. WIth this feature you can verify that height
is correctly being calculated. This allows you to diagnose calibrations problems that result in various issues including carts being
counted in the queue length, children being counted in the queue length, and/or people not being counted in the queue length.
8.1.1 Activating the Debug View
To verify that the queue zone is functioning as desired:
1.
Open the D3D-2500 configuration application using your web browser.
2.
Click the Queuing tab to open the Queuing page.
3.
In the Queues or Service Points group, click the name of the queue or service point that you want to debug, or select the
Display All checkbox to show all zones.
4.
Select the
Debug
checkbox.
5.
Select either the
Status
or
Height
radio button to display the track statuses on the D3D-2500 image.
6.
Observe the status of tracks that enter and exit the zone to verify that the zone configuration is working properly. If needed,
adjust the size, shape, and advanced options for the zones, then save the new configuration.
7.
Schedule a validation AVI and conduct a validation on your current configuration.
