SECTION 7: CONFIGURING SERVICE APPLICATIONS

In grocery and retail, service points are often used for self-checkout lanes and speciality kiosks to determine service
times and utilization.

Do not place or move any part of a service zones outside the viewable image area.

Draw the zones based on the location on the floor where you want your service point. The D3D-2500 camera uses foot
position to determine the location of a person in the image space.

to save your configuration.
14. Repeat steps 1-13 with each additional service point zone in the D3D-2500 field of view.
NOTE
Up to 6 zones of any type (counting, queuing, service, and detection) can be created in each D3D-2500 unit.

7.2.1 Creating a Service Exclusion area
The service exclusion area is used to exclude employee service times. See “Service Exclusion Areas” 1 for more information. To create
a Service Exclusion area:
1.
Right-click a Service Point from the Queuing tab, Service Points group.
2.
Select
Exclude
from the pop-up menu. A red Exclusion area appears on the screen.
3.
Click and drag the box to move it to the location where the Exclusion zone is needed.
4.
Select the red box and click and drag the red handles to resize the box as needed.

Click
Save
to save your changes.
