Suction handpiece holder

The Sim Multi Bench simulation unit is equipped with a holder for
suction handpieces.

It can be equipped with a maximum of one spray aspirator and one
saliva ejector.

The suction handpieces are placed in the holder as in the following
illustration.

CAUTION

The suction handpieces can be closed using the slide.

Due to the lack of suction flow, fluid may run back out of the suction
handpieces.
➢ Make sure that the slide is open and suction is present before

starting to work. Return the suction to the holder with the slide
opened.

NOTE

Suction removal of metal oxides from blasting devices

Observe the safety information on the "Vacuum system".

Spray aspirator

A

The suction handpiece can be angulated by turning it. 

Spray aspirator cannulas with lateral air intakes A should be used so
the suction flow is not completely cut off when suction is attached. This
prevents backflow from the hose when the suction is attached.

The suction flow can be stopped and regulated using the slide B.

The thick suction hose can be used for surgical suction. To insert a
surgical cannula, please attach the adapter supplied.

Saliva ejector

A curved cannula is available for suction that can be hanged in the
mouth opening of the phantom head.

The suction flow can be stopped and regulated using the A rotating
knob.
