Endodontics / Purge
When the ultrasonic handpiece is taken from the holder:
➢ Switches the Endo mode on/off (limiting power).
The set ultrasonic intensity (ultrasonic mode) is displayed on the SIM
display of the dentist element.
Purge
➢ Press the Purge / Endo key.

The status display Endo lights up.
The Endo mode is switched on.
Ä
The endodontics intensity (Endo mode) is displayed instead of
ultrasonic intensity (ultrasonic mode).
Purge
➢ Press the Purge / Endo key.
Ä
The Endo status display turns off.
The Endo mode is switched off.
The dentist element SIM display changes to ultrasound mode.

With a motor removed and the Endo switched on:
Calibrating the bur drive
(The Endo status display is lit.)

➢ Press and hold the Purge / Endo key (> 2 s).

A revolving element is shown in the dentist element SIM
display.
The bur drive is ready for calibration.

Ä
When the bur drive is calibrated, this is indicated by a "c" on the
SIM display of the dentist element.
Calibration is then finished.

➢ With motor removed and the Endo function switched on:
Accessing saved torque
(The Endo status display is lit.)

The set torque is displayed on the SIM display of the dentist
element.
Clean
Switches between torque and speed display
➢ Press the Display mode / Clean key.
Ä
The set speed is displayed on the SIM display of the dentist
element in rpm.

To differentiate between torque and speed settings, the display shows
burr drive calibrated/not calibrated and AutoReverse function on/off only
for the torque.
