Concept of the user interface
4.2.1
SIM display of the dentist element
The user interface features seven-segment displays. Each display can
show five digits or letters. Depending on the operating context, they are
used to display speed, intensity, and torque and for configuration and
maintenance of the simulation unit. The time, timer function, and error
messages are also displayed.
Ongoing processes such as flushing the instruments with the purge
function are displayed in the dentist element SIM display with a
revolving element at the end of the line.
If two elements at the end of the dentist element SIM display blink
alternately, action is required by the user, e.g. water must be refilled.
Status displays
Indicate activation of spray (only for C+ electronic foot control),
counterclockwise rotation, Endo function, and user profile B.

These fixed keys are used to:
● Adjust the speed of the electric motor or the intensity of the
SiroSonic L or Cavitron scaler.
● Save and retrieve the following instrument settings on function keys
1, 2, and 3:
– Speed or intensity
● Call the setup and browse through the setup settings
● Change other settings, e.g. purging time
Dual assignment of fixed keys
A/B
Depending on the operating context and whether instruments are
removed or placed in the holder, different functions can be assigned to
the fixed keys. For example the

Fixed keys with no function
Fixed keys for functions not included with the simulation unit have no
function on the user interface. This affects the buttons with dual
assignment for the integrated torque control options:
Purge
It may not be possible to activate integrated torque control.
Clean
It is not possible to switch between speed and torque display.
