4.3.1
Pneumatic foot control
The simulation unit can be operated with a pneumatic foot control.
When the instrument is removed from the holder, the speeds or
intensities are automatically displayed on the dentist element SIM
display.
Foot pedal
➢ Remove an instrument (electric motor, turbine/air motor, SiroSonic
L or Cavitron) and step on the foot pedal.
Ä
The instrument is switched on with the set speed and intensity.
For turbines/air motors, the speed is controlled by the pedal
action.
Spray switch
➢ Move the toggle switch.
Ä
Left position: Spray off
Right position: Spray on
The spray is either switched on or off when an instrument is
activated.
Chip blower
With the chip blower, an air jet comes out of the bur.
➢ Remove an instrument and press on the right button.
Ä
The chip blower remains switched on as long as the button is
pressed.
