Modifications and extensions to the device
Modifications to this unit that might affect the safety of the operator,
users, or other persons are prohibited by law.
For reasons of product safety, this product may be operated only with
original Dentsply Sirona parts or parts expressly approved by Dentsply
Sirona. The user assumes the risk of unforeseen modifications and of
using non-approved parts and accessories. Dentsply Sirona is not liable
for resulting damages.
All units connected to this product must comply with the applicable
standards:
● IEC 61010-1 Safety requirements for electrical equipment for
measurement, control, and laboratory use
● IEC 61326-1 Electrical equipment for measurement, control and
laboratory use – EMC requirements
● IEC 62368-1-1 or IEC 60950-1 Safety of information technology
equipment (e.g. computer, monitor)
The simulation unit monitor must fulfill the requirements of the IEC
62368-1 or IEC 60950-1 standard.
If a system is created during the installation, then the creator is
responsible for the conformity of the system. In accordance with
Directive 2006/42/EC.
