The Channels tab's top level is the device level in DataService Configurator The
hardware view (right panel) displays the various system interfaces, memory and

This Section explains the settings that you can make for the device itself. This
takes place via "
Profi Message '192 .168.100.116'..." in the Channels tab in
DataService Configurator (see example). Use the Properties context menu to
amend a device name and ID or to enter a description for the device. Use Main set-
tings context menu to change network and NTP settings.

4.3 Connecting slave devices
Slave devices can only be connected with Profi Message devices. The Profi Mes-
sage system uses CAN-bus and Delphin CAN Protoco Delphin l (DCP) to connect to
