External divider for analogue inputs and measurement range
±25 V or ±20 V
An extended measurement range of ±25 V or ±20 V can be achieved with a sym-
metrical external resistor divider. The recommended wiring appears as follows:
The resistor accuracy class should be (depending on requirements) 0.1% to 1%.
Input impedance is reduced here to 25 or 20 k
Ω
. Measuring point scaling must be
increased using the DataService Configurator PC software by the factor 2.5 or 2.0.
External AC coupling
AC coupling can be achieved with symmetrical capacitors. The recommended wir-
ing appears as follows:
Non-polarized capacitors must be used. The input high-pass has a cut-off fre-
quency of 4 … 0.4 Hz.
External AC coupling is useful for mobile systems. For fixed installations, refer to
AC coupling for analogue inputs .
