• ACC
The engine can be turned off without
locking the steering wheel by turning
the key to the ACC position. To turn the
key from ACC to LOCK position, push
in the key slightly and turn to LOCK.
Some electrical accessories, such as the
radio and the cigarette lighter, can be
operated in the ACC position.

CAUTION
• Do not leave the key in the ACC
for extended periods.
This will discharge the battery.
• ON
Activates the ignition system and the
electrical accessories.

IGNITION SWITCH
The ignition switch, located on the right
side of the steering column, has the fol-
lowing positions: LOCK, ACC, ON and
START.
• LOCK
To lock the steering wheel, remove the
key and rotate the steering wheel until
it locks.
For easier key operation when unlock-
ing the steering wheel, move the steer-
ing wheel gently from right to left and
turn the key to the ACC position.
To adjust the steering wheel position:
1. Push the lever under the steering col-
umn toward instrument panel.
2. Pull the lever to lock the steering
wheel when it reaches desired posi-
tion.
3. Make sure the steering wheel is se-
curely fixed.

CAUTION
• Do not drive with steering wheel
in the highest position.
Use this position only to make it
easier to exit and enter the vehicle.
