config dhcp_relay option_61 state 

Purpose 

This command is used to configure the DHCP relay option 61 state. 

Syntax 

config dhcp_relay option_61 state [enable|disable] 

Description 

This command is used to decide whether the DHCP relay will process the DHCP option 
61 or not. When option 61 is enabled, if the packet does not have option 61, then the 
relay servers cannot be determined based on option 61. If the relay servers are 
determined based on option 60 or option 61, then per IPIF configured servers will be 
ignored. If the relay servers are not determined either by option 60 or option 61, then per 
IPIF configured servers will be used to determine the relay servers. 

Parameters 

enable – 

Enables the fuction dhcp_relay use option_61 ruler to relay dhcp packet. 

disable

 – Disables the fuction dhcp_relay use option_61 ruler to relay dhcp packet. 

Restrictions 

Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
