disable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto
Purpose
Disables the auto configuration of link local addresses when no IPv6 addresses are
configured.
Syntax
disable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto [<ipif_name 12> | all ]
Description
This command is used to disable the auto-configuration of link local addresses when no
IPv6 address is explicitly configured.
Parameters
<ipif_name 12>

The name of the IP interface.
all –
Indicates all IP interfaces.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable the automatic configuration of link local address for an interface:
