After the old BIOS version has been erased and the new
version installed the following message will appear:
The unit must be rebooted
Set switch 3 to OFF (right)
Press <scan> + <power> to reboot

Position DIP switch 3 back to the OFF position. It is
acceptable to perform this operation while the unit is still
powered. A small jeweler’s screwdriver works well for this
purpose.
10.
Press the <SCAN> + <Power> keys to reboot the unit, have
the new BIOS take effect, and return the unit to the
C:>
prompt (or application if the
C:
drive
[autoexec.bat]
has
been so configured).
11.
Power down the Apex PDT by pressing the <FN> +
<Power> keys, remove the BIOS Upgrade Flash card, and
re-install the End Cap.
12.
Store the BIOS Upgrade Flash Card in a safe location in the
event you need to re-perform the BIOS upgrade procedure.
For your records we recommend that you record the current
BIOS version below with the date of update.
