Function 55h, Service 0Dh –
Get Default Keyclick
Input:
ah = 55h
al = 0Dh
Returns:
Carry Flag clear if successful
ax = current setting (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)
Carry Flag set on error
Notes:
This function returns the default keyclick state that takes
affect following a reboot. This function does NOT return
the current keyclick state.
Function 55h, Service 0Eh –
Set Default Keyclick
Input:
ah = 55h
al = 0Eh
bx = keyclick state (0 = off, 1 = on)
Returns:
Carry Flag clear if successful
ax = current setting (after change)
Carry Flag set on error
Notes:
This function sets the default keyclick state. The default
takes affect following a reboot of the unit. This function
does NOT set the current keyclick state. Reference
Interrupt 16h, Function 04h.
Function 55h, Service 0Fh –
Get Default Delay and Repeat
Rate
Input:
ah = 55h
al = 0Fh
Returns:
Carry Flag clear if successful
Bh = delay value (00h = 250 ms, 01h = 500 ms, 02h =
750 ms, 03h = 1000 ms)
Bl = repeat rate (see Function 55h, Service 10h Notes)
Carry Flag set on error
Notes:
This function returns the default typematic delay and
repeat rate that take affect following a reboot. This
function does NOT return the current session settings as
set by Interrupt 16h, Function 03h, but rather returns the
default settings set by Interrupt 15h, Function 55h, Service
10h.
