2. To enable any of the Apex PDT’s BIOS Power Management
features
, the Power Saving option MUST be set to Customize
(see Figure 10-1). If the Power Saving setting is not set to
Customize, you can perform this operation by pressing the
<SPACE> key while the Power Saving option is highlighted.
3. Press the Down Arrow key < > to highlight the Power
Saving feature you wish to set.
4. Press the <SPACE> key until the desired setting is displayed
for the selected option. Continually pressing the <SPACE>
key will return you to the start of the available settings for
that option. Available options for each feature are listed in
the below table.

Low Speed Timeout OFF
0.125, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 4, 8, and 16 seconds
Standby Timeout

8, 16, and 32 seconds
1, 4, 8, and 16 minutes
Suspend Timeout OFF
1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 60 minutes

Note: Units change as individual values are selected.
5. Once you have set the timeout options to give you the Power
Savings desired, press the Right Arrow key < > to go to the
BIOS Exit Menu.
6. To save any changes that you have performed, choose the
Save Changes And Exit Option and press the <ENT> key.
The following message will appear:
Notice
Changes have been saved
[continue]
Pressing the <ENT> key again will return you to the boot
sequence.
