BIOS Setup 

With Setup (the Phoenix BIOS Setup Program), you can modify 
your BIOS settings and control special features.  Setup employs a 
system of menus to allow the user to make changes and to turn 
specific features ON or OFF. 

 

WARNING! 

ONLY KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSONNEL SHOULD ATTEMPT 

TO CHANGE THE APEX PDT FACTORY 

LOADED BIOS VALUES! 

ONLY knowledgeable, qualified personnel should attempt to 
change the factory BIOS setting.  If you do enter the BIOS Setup 
Menus and think you may have changed a setting by mistake, 
proceed to the Exit Menu and select the Exit Without Saving 
option.  This will allow you to leave the BIOS Setup Menus without 
changing any values or features. 

 

Upper Level Menus and Menu Information 

Follow the procedure listed below to access the Phoenix BIOS 
Setup menu system: 
1. 

Turn ON or reboot your Apex PDT unit.  During the boot 
process press the <F2> function key to enter the BIOS Setup 
Main Menu (see the following illustration). 

Note:

  Due to the LCD screen functionality, the selected menu 

item may not be completely visible.  The Apex P DT screen 
size may cause the right and bottom side of the selected 
menu to be obscured.
