Multiple Effects gives the ability to simultaneously exe-
cute Read Effects, Mix Effects, Transform Scripts, DDR
clips (Message Compose v3.52 and later) and Chyron
Motion Files (Message Compose v9.00 and later). This
multi-layer display can be further enhanced by the pres-
ence of Extended Effects Frame Buffers. The Start point,
End point and Duration of each effect can be set.

The iNFiNiT! system is normally equipped with two
frame buffers, but can have an optional third frame
buffer added. The MAX!> system is normally
equipped with one frame buffer, but can have an
optional second buffer added.
Multiple Effects are NOT available on MAXINE!, on
single buffer MAX!> systems, to the Secondary User
in a Dual User system, or to the Primary User in a two
buffer Dual User system. Multiple Effects are avail-
able to the Primary User in a three buffer Dual User
system.
Multiple Effects are available on MAXINE!/Transform
systems.
Additionally, dedicating a buffer to the Recall Key-
board, the Clock/Timer, etc. can limit the availability
of Mix Effects.

All effects and their parameters can be set in the Multiple
Effects main menu. To display this menu:
• Press CNTL E or select Multi FX .
