Once Preview is enabled as described above, the follow-
ing functions become available:

•

CHNG

toggles the cursor between the Foreground

(AIR) to and Background (Preview) buffers. Both
AIR and Preview can be the destination for Read
operations, or the source for Record operations.

•

XFER

swaps the contents of AIR and Preview.

XFER

executes as follows:

The RGB data in PREVIEW is transferred to
AIR first.

The RGB data in AIR is transferred to PRE-
VIEW second.

•

The user can type, erase the screen, and read/record
messages in either AIR or Preview.

The Output Percentage level of the MAX!> Preview Out-
put is always 100%.

nel Transfer affords the following options:
